It doesnt shut off for 4 hours a day at least, though i received no compensation for the fact i was paying for a service i could not use for 50% of my free(not working) day. i pay more for my internet than i previously did. They kept defending themselves with "it is only temporary and will benefit you once Uverse is available, aka screw you, just wait until you can pay us more and be forced to upgrade to Uverse bc at that time your current package will be unavailable.įast forward to now. I worked nights at the time so noon-4pm was a huge part of my day that i could not use. I called and complained for weeks before someone finally said "oh they are doing maintenance to get your area ready for Uverse and faster speeds". For six months at one point, every day from noon-4pm my internet was shut off. I have had all kinds of issues with them.
